Heldridge Construction was founded in 2010. I am a general contractor whose company is licensed and bonded and insured. 

I specialize in projects that are high in details, complexity and customization. I work with owners, often in tandem with their with architects and designers with the goal of providing a high quality product that all parties are proud of. In the building process, relationships with all parties are the most important factor in the success of a project. One of my greatest strengths is my commitment to positive and healthy relationships - relationships with the client, my subcontractors, my employees and all vendors. Another strength that serves my clients well is my eye for detail and efficiency.  I enjoy the opportunity to do what I do and am proud of my work. 


A little Q & A with the owner

Q: What what your first job?
A: Construction in highschool at age 16

Q: What did you do before Heldridge Construction?
A: I was the COO and CFO of a larger construction company called Logan's Hammer. Prior to that I was the General Manager at Canlis Restaurant.

Q: How did you go from working in a fine dining restaurant to working in construction? 
A: I wanted to find a place where I could exercise the skills and personal strengths that I had acquired over the years into the environment of another small business. As a finance and economics major in college, and as a foodie and fan of very well built things (my family heritage comes from Switzerland; land of watches and exceptional details), I found that both food and construction allowed me to create tangible products that people enjoy. The values of Trust, Hospitality, Excellence and Details are the same in both industries, and thankfully these were the values at both Canlis and Logan's Hammer.

I want to make the whole process "feel good" for the customer. Building a house or remodeling a space should be a fantastic experience. The time you spend constructing the spaces you live in should be just as wonderful as the memories you make once the project is completed. Everyone wants a positive experience whether making memories over a meal or improving their homes to fit them better, I can easily relate to that myself, so it is easy to treat customers how I want to be treated.
